One Media Publishing Group Plc
("One Media" or the "Company")
Subsidiary Director Appointment
One Media, the PLUS quoted consolidators and acquirers of music and visual
rights, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Julian Wall as Managing
Director of the Group's principle trading subsidiary `One Media Publishing
Limited'. Julian is currently the Director of Independent Member Services &
International Events for the BPI (British Recorded Music Industry) Ltd. The BPI
(The music industry's trade federation that runs `The Brits'), has 300+
independent music companies as members, plus the four major record companies;
EMI, Universal, Sony and Warners. One Media has been a member of the BPI since
2006. Julian is staying in his position until the end of August with the BPI to
effect an orderly handover.
Julian announced his exit from the BPI at last week's BPI AGM to a plethora of
tributes from Geoff Taylor (CEO of the BPI), Tony Wadsworth (BPI Chairman) and
Mike Batt (Deputy Chairman), who all praised Julian's outstanding contribution
and vibrancy to the federation.
Julian joined the BPI in 2008 and has looked after the independent membership
and international events section throughout. During his tenure, he is widely
credited with refocusing the BPI's independent agenda to be more practical,
more dynamic and more business orientated for small and medium sized UK
companies. In addition, there has been a substantial expansion of the
international programme through BPI trade missions to the US, Japan, business
centres in Europe and this year for the first time, a planned music mission to
Australia.
Prior to the BPI, Julian held management positions in marketing, sales and
international licensing at a range of entertainment companies including
Sanctuary Records, BMG/RCA/Arista (now Sony Music) and the Phonogram and MCA
labels (now part of Universal Music).
Speaking of the new position Julian said: "As digital revenue streams in the UK
music market start to develop a 50%+ share of the market, One Media is
brilliantly positioned to exploit and benefit from that trend. I'm thrilled to
be joining Michael and his excellent team at this exciting time."
Julian will take up his appointment with One Media in September 2012.
Michael Infante, Chairman and CEO said: "We are delighted that Julian has
agreed to join One Media and he will certainly bring a wealth of music business
experience from all levels of the industry. Julian will work on expanding One
Media's acquisition strategy together with managing the existing subsidiary
board that is responsible for the Group's day-to-day business. The Group is
making a number of expansive strategic plans for 2013/14. We are moving within
the Pinewood complex to a larger office suite that affords us additional
working space, whilst making new appointments in our Creative Technician team
to meet the demands in exploiting the new music and video content that the
Group has acquired. Julian will strengthen the existing One Media team with his
insight and knowledge of today's music industry.

Notes to Editors:
One Media operates a model of content acquisition, representation and digital
exploitation, which is successful and profitable. The Company's small team of
Creative Technicians ingests, re-compiles and prepares digital music releases
utilising the bespoke `in-house' developed software. The newly compiled
digital-only albums are then distributed across over 300 digital retail stores
worldwide. One Media now has thousands of albums listed across all the key
digital stores such as iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer, eMusic and streaming
channels on YouTube to name but a few. One Media is a B2B content supplier to
all digital stores and does not operate its own consumer site. It's music
catalogue is also available for synchronisation use in films, advertisements,
TV programs and games. One Media operates an online sync database system that
enables music supervisors to explore the vast library and select tracks for
music briefs. With over 65 catalogue acquisitions to date, the catalogue
contains circa 140,000 music tracks and over 4000 hours of video content, from
artists spanning 7 decades from the `forties' to the `noughties'. One Media
focuses on `middle of the road', nostalgic music by well known artists from
every genre, including; Pop, Rock, Reggae, R&B, Children's music, Karaoke,
Easy-Listening, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rap, Hip-Hop, Gospel, World-Music, plus
Stand-Up Comedy, Celebrity Spoken-Word and over 1000 hours of Classical Music.
One Media is now an eligible company for the Enterprise Investment Scheme
("EIS") and the Venture Capital Trust ("VCT").
